A small tin mine, started as Wheal Damsel, but later renamed on account of the abundance of clear quartz ("Cornish diamond") in the lode. It worked a SE-trending lode from two shafts, which were located about 300 yards north of Trevagean Vean. The coordinates mark an overgrown dump that remains in the corner of a field.
