Longwoods complex is a 32x12km igneous mass that is concentrated around Longwood Range north of Orepuki, Pahai Point and Bluff on the south coast of the South Island as well as the related Anglam complex on Stewart Island. Erosion of these areas has created placer deposits of platinum group elements.
