A group of Au-Cu claims / underground mine located on several unpatented claims in the NW¼ sec. 9, T5S, R16E (Christmas 7.5 minute topo map), about 3¾ miles NE of Winkelman, on state land Owned by Mr. Rieder.
Mineralization occurs in poorly defined shear zones hosted in quartz monzonite and andesite and includes secondary copper minerals. Alteration is chloritization.
Workings include 2 tunnels side by side, one caved.
