A group of Cu claims with underground workings located in the NE¼ sec. 7, T8S, R19E (Oak Grove Canyon 7.5 minute topo map), 2.2 miles ENE of Copper Creek in the Galiuro Mountains.
Mineralization is a tabular ore body 0.91 meters thick, striking E-W and dipping 85S, hosted in Galiuro Volcanics andesite. Reddish-purple to purple fine-grained amygdaloidal andesite is cut by fractures and mineralized. The zone of mineralization ranges from thin films on fracture surfaces to a 3 foot wide zone which contains several thin seams of chrysocolla and specularite.
Area structures include block faulting trending NNW. Regional trends: minor Pre-Cretaceous E and NE-trending folds and major Post-Cretaceous NNW-trending faults. Late Tertiary uplift and faulting.
There are two prospect areas 300 feet apart in a SW-NE direction. The NE prospect has a 6 foot vertical shaft. The SW workings have a flooded shaft and an adit 50 feet below the shaft.
