Clay pit in upper carboniferous clay schists, alum schists and greywacke sandstones, owned by the Vorhaller Klinkerwerke. The locality is widely known for its richness in fossils, but there are also some minerals present. Located at Vorhalle, a northwestern district of the city of Hagen.
