Structure: Faults

Alteration: There Is A 225-Ft Wide Zone Of Hydrothermal Alteration Trending N-S

Commodity: Ore is used in sheroid, a brand of joint cement for dry-wall construction. Ore is yellowish-gray to very pale orange, fine-grained, sheared, having a micaceous appearance. It consists of nearly equal amounts of sericite and chlorite with sparse to moderate amounts of quartz and calcite

Deposit: Ore zone is a n-s trending zone of hydrothermal alteration along ridge crest, with a fault contact on west side separating ore from partly altered rock grading to fresh quartz monzonite. On east side of ore zone, about 25 ft of partly altered material separates fresh quartz monzonite from ore.

Development: Ore is trucked to pfizer's processing plant at victorville california. The open-pit mine is operated intermittently to meet their tonnage requirements
