Vote for your favorite mineral in #MinCup26! - Sphalerite vs. Anorthite

Granite pegmatite.

Note on the mineral list: Morrill (1959), p. 29, reports (erroneously?) a find of amethyst (1956).

This locality consists of a large cut, 50 feet deep by 50 wide, and about 100 feet long. There are numerous prospect pits scattered around this locality, as well as large 30+ foot tall dump piles. Many of which have yielded apatite crystals in excess of 3 inches. Signs of radioactive and Li minerals are present. Exploration will begin in the 2016 season.
