A former underground Au-Cu-Ag-Clay mine. Discovered by J.T. Bougine. Produced 1930-1937.

Mineralization is a vein deposit with a tabular ore body hosted in the Hillside Mica Schist (muscovite schist). Ore control was faulting and shearing. Ore concentration was oxidation at near surface. No alteration was noted.

Area structures include veins that are often at low angles, dipping less than 40 degrees. Minor foliation in schist trends NE. Local igneous rocks are massive.
