A former underground Cu-Ag-Au mine. Discovered 1875. Produced 1910-1927. Claims extend into sec. 7, T8N, R1E.

Mineralization is a vein deposit with a tabular lens-shaped ore body. An associated rock unit is the Crazy Basin Quartz Monzonite and rhyolite porphyry dikes. Ore control was faulting and shearing. Ore concentration was oxidation at near surface. Alteration included sericitization adjacent to some dikes.

Area structures include veins parallel to rhyolite porphyry dikes and foliation in Precambrian xenoliths. Foliation in Precambrian xenoliths (Quartz-mica schist) trends N40-50E.
