A barite prospect about half a mile north of the Orazada mine. The deposit consists of a pyrite-bearing barite vein about 4 feet thick in quartzite of the Edna. The vein is along a fault that strikes about N25W and appears to dip steeply to the north. The barite, which makes up most of the vein material, is white, coarse, and massive. The deposit has not been worked.
