A former underground Au-Cu-Pb-Zn mine located about 300 feet east of the Leghorn Mine at a higher altitude, and both mines may be on the same vein or on parallel veins of the same system. Claim extends into the NE¼NE¼SE¼ of sec. 6. Claim overlaps Leghorn Mine Patented claims 3007.
Mineralization is a vein deposit with ore bodies as lenses and pods. The vein ranges from small stringers to 2½ feet wide; the average strike is about N.40ºE. and the dip ranges from 25º to 45ºW. The oreshoots occurred in the more gently dipping parts of the vein. Ore control was faulting and shearing. Ore concentration was oxidtion at near surface. No alteration was noted.
Three adits within a vertical range of about 60 feet crosscut the vein.
