Small baryte deposit on the southern foot of Großer Otter Mt., near Steinbach, SW of Otterthal. Genetically similar to the baryte deposit on Kleiner Otter Mt.

Open pit (845 m) and several adits:
Stollen I (840 m), Stollen II (822 m), Stollen III (822 m), Stollen IV (822 m), Stollen V (819 m), Unterfahrung 2 (809 m), Stollen VII (804 m), Unterfahrung 1 (798 m), Stollen VI = Gertrudestollen (783 m).

Mined between 1953 and 1975.
