A former Cu occurrence/mine located in secs. 20 & 21, T24S, R58E, MDM, 5.1 km (3.2 miles) WNW of Goodsprings and E of Shenandoah Peak, on private land within a Bureau of Land Management administered area. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in Mississippian limestone. Controls for ore emplacement included a shear zone. The ore occurs along fractures in the shear zone. Ore minerals are associated with iron-stained chert lenses. Local rocks include limestone and minor amounts of dolomite and shale.

Local geologic structures include local shear zone probably associated with the NE extension of the Alice Fault.

Workings include underground openings with a length of 38.1 meters and an overall depth of 10.67 meters.

Production data are found in: Hewett (1931).

Production information: Produced 75 tons of ore averaging 15 to 20% Cu.
