Sunk on a lode of granite off Hemerdon Ball. Workings are mostly cleared but the underground works may have extended into the Mary Hutchings sett. Output 1855 23 tons black tin.
Not to be confused with the Hemerdon Bal mine, now called the Drakelands mine, which swallowed up Hermerdon Consols.
