Structure: Nw-Trending Fault Terminates Oasis-Palmetto Fault Zone To The Southeast

Commodity: Most ore is broken, consisting of small rounded fragments in fine-grained flakey matrix with dolomite fragments up to a foot in diameter, and small amounts of calcite, quartz and chlorite.

Deposit: Talc bodies are bordered by faults dipping NE to N at moderate to steep angles. Main orebody formed along the dolomite-quartz monzonite cntact and was mined from a 100-ft long open pit. Just to the north is another ore body mined from an adit and inclined shaft. It is 100 ft long. 1-6 ft wide and 130 ft downdip at 55 degrees -65 degrees

Development: Property was worked by lessees who mined from a small open pit and from an adit level. An inclined shaft was sunk in 1942 to a depth of 50 ft belo W adit level to extract deeper ore. Mine idle from until 1943 to at least 1975
