A granite pegmatite of Beryl type LCT situated just 13 km N of the village Ampandramaika, W of the city Fianarantsoa in the main highland of Madagascar.
Crystals of beryl about 1 m in length have been found here.
By 1972 it was reported that the pegmatite has produced 15 ton of beryl and 200 kg of columbo-tantalite.
