Structure: Ne-Striking Transverse Faults
Alteration: Small quanities Of Silica And Iron Occur As Veinlets Hamburg Dolomite Alterred To "Sandolomite". Rock Has Texture And Look Of Dolomite But Has Been Subjected To Interanular Corrosion Causing Disintegration.
Deposit: Low-grade gold ore shoots with indistinct assay walls. Shoots are localized by intersection of fissures and faults with hamburgolomite predominanty a producer of gold, this shaft is part of the windfall mine ; info.src : 1 pub lit

Geology: Geol.com: the windfall ore bodies differ markedly from the other mineralized bodies in the district in that they are low-grade gold ore shoots with indistinct assay walls the shoots exhibited marked structural and stratigraphic control being localized the intersection of ne-striking fissures or faults w/the hamburg dolomite.
