Deposit: Ore localized by the bowman normal fault in fractured permeable zones in the dolomite the property produced ore valued at $51,092 from 1876-1892. The mine is located at the northern end of the ruby hill area, the richest of the five mineralized blocks in the district. ; info.src : 1 pub lit
Geology: Branches of the bowman normal fault have localized the ore and served As pathways for dikelike masses of quartz diorite porphyry. The ore bodies are irregular in shape and plunge at a shallow angle. There ore zones are farther above the ruby hill thrust zone than elsewhere in the district
