Structure: Deposit In Upper Plate Of Roberts Mtn Thrust Imbricate Thrusts (Lander Thrust) & High Angle Faults

Alteration: Country Rocks Argillized About Ore Zones

Deposit: The deposit was discovered in 1942 by charles poe. Production is estimated at about $15,000. Older stopes and adits on the property have caved, and more recent work consists of several bulldozer cuts. ; info.src : 1 pub lit

Geology: Host rock for the deposit is a grandular, thinly bedded black quartzite that strikes n5w, and dips 30sw. Turquoise occurs in a kaolinized layer that marks a bedding plane fault.
