Alteration: Metamorphosed; Silicified

Deposit: Mn-rich areas distributed in a 2 mile-by-one mile area. Developed by shallow pits. Manganiferous outcrops are distributed along an area a mile wide and 2 miles long from e. To w.probably not the same As black diablo mine, As suggested by johnson in NBMG bull 89. These claims are located on the west slope of buffalo mountain with elevations rising from west to east, while black diablo mine is on the east slope of the sonoma range across the pumpernickel valley

Deposit type: Replacement Mn

Geology: Geol.com: at west end, Mn-oxide veinlets occur along a ledge in a 40-ft wide zone; one claim has a 5-ft wide vein.
