A former surface and underground Ag-Cu-Au-Pb-Zn mine located in the NW¼NW¼NW¼ sec. 15, T22S, R17E, a mile west of the La Plata Mine, on the low hills in the upper Redrock drainage basin, about ¾ mile east of Redrock Wash and 8½ miles ESE of Patagonia, on National Forest land. Owned by the Dax Corp. (1973). Mr. Jensen had unspecified involvement here (1975).

The orebody is a quartzose dike or ledge ranging from about 40 to 60 feet in width. It strikes N.70ºE., dips 80ºS., and offsets the older dike about 2 feet. This ledge contains widely disseminated pyrite and chalcopyrite throughout, which on weathering have stained the croppings yellowish with small patches of green and blue. On the East claim, there was some native silver and galena at the surface; copper and zinc at a depth of 30 feet. Ore control was a dike or ledge cutting altered andesite.Mineralization is thin veins. Native silver and galena occur at surface
The country rock is a dark chocolate-brown altered andesite cut by 2 dikes. The older dike is a reddish banded rhyolite which breaks into plates along what appear to be flow lines. It is about 10 feet wide, dips 55ºNE., and is traceable by scattered outcrops for about 1½ miles to the SE.

Workings include some 850 feet (259.08 meters) of development work, most of it on the East claim, which has a 160 foot deep shaft sunk at the top of the hill with 200 feet of drifting. A 50 foot crosscut and a 250 foot drift are located about 200 feet west and 50 feet below the shaft. There are also a few shallow pits on the croppings.
