Three long abandoned quarries in pale grey to very dark grey, medium-grained, tectonically fractured limestone(?) (according to Resch (1958) the rock is dolomitic). The quarries have very steep walls and are overgrown mainly in their lower (scree) parts.
The middle quarry contains localised mineralisations (realgar, orpiment) on joints and thin fissures of dark to very dark boulders. Both minerals can still be found with a lot of patience (Uwe Kolitsch & Renato Kiseljak field observations 2016 and 2021).
Located in the northern exit of the valley, close to the forestry road.
