Alteration: Bleaching

Deposit: Workings are along a n W zone of faulting and iron-staining about 100 m long, 0.5-2 m wide. In this zone, granitic wallrock is bleached, iron-stained and cut by narrow shears. Zone contains rare quartz vein material. Wallrock outside the zone is unaltered or slightly chloritized. A single inclined shaft is on a very similar zone 200 m up the canyon (ne) from the main workings. This zone has an attitude of n30w, 75 ne. The shallo W nature of the ore suggests that some free-milling gold was found in the zone. Worked in 1911. Developed by a vertical shaft 60 ft. Deep and 20 ft. Of drifts. ; info.src : 1 pub lit; 2 unpub rept; 3 field observ

Deposit type: Polymetallic veins

Development: No activity at time of examination in 1984.

Geology: Oxidized and sulfide ores with siliceous gangue were found.
