Deposit: Quartz-barite vein in sericitized rhyolite ash-flo W tuff. Barite contains fine-grained galena and fine-grained cha-lcopyrite, plus malachite, azurite and cerussite. Adit trends E- W but no vein trend could be ascertained. Barite seems to contain base metal sulfides; quartz vein and stockworks on dump had pyrite only. Worked on a small scale. Comprised of 13 patented claims ; info.src : 1 pub lit; 2 unpub rept; 3 field observ
Deposit type: Low-sulfide Au-quartz vein
Development: Apparently worked in 1970's-1880's. No evidence in 1984 of any activity for many years.
