Outcrops of fluorite-calcite veins hosted by limestones and dolomites of the Gutenstein formation.
Located approx. 1.3 km W of Altenmarkt at approx. N47.72559 E14.63235.
The name „Ungerhammerplatzl“ is used because at the Platzl a forge (Hammerwerk = hammer mill) with this name was in operation till 1911, before that the place was called Trummerhammerplatz. In the 19th century a gypsum quarry with the name “Zieherbauerischer Gypsbruch” was worked nearby.
