A manganese deposit located in sec. 16, T7S, R18E, about 10 miles NE of Mammoth, on the SE slope of Table Mountain, on private land.

Mineralization is a deposit contained in massive limestone and is apparently a replacement deposit along a fissure that strikes NE. The orebody can be traced for 150 feet and is 16 feet wide at the shaft.

The ore is a mixture of iron and manganese oxides and would probably be classified as wad. It is soft, brownish-black, and generally homogenous, though in places it shows nests and veinlets of small manganite crystals.

Workings include a 30 foot deep shaft. No production record.
