Outcrop of talc rocks along Rio Agrifoglio, near Casanova di Rovegno. Famous Ligurian locality for pyrite crystals and mammillary talc.

Elongated pentaldite crystals, up to 2-3 mm, have been recently found inside calcite veinlets forming networks in a green talc matrix. Associated minerals are small pyrite crystals, black chromite crystals, white amphibole, bright green mica (fuchiste?), possible hematite, and small quartz crystals in which no prism faces are developed (Odicino et al., 2006).
