Vesima (A Vexima /a ˈveːʒima/ in Ligurian[1]) is a frazione of the municipality of Genoa, included in the territory of the former district of Voltri. In the current administrative division of the municipality, it is part of the "urban planning unit" Crevari of the Municipality VII Ponente.
Being located west of the Leira stream, the northernmost point of the Gulf of Genoa, it is, together with the nearby village of Crevari, the only frazione of the municipality of Genoa to geographically belong to the Riviera di Ponente.
Its beach is frequented in the summer, especially by the Genoese, many of whom use a small train station, active only in the bathing season.
