Patented claims MS 118 - 1660 - 1955 & 2110; Gold Vein; Betty O'Neal Mining Co. property
A former surface and underground Cu-Pb-Au-Ag-Zn mine located east of the Cash Mine on the NW slope of Mount Union at 7,200 feet of altitude. Closed 1910. Owned by Betty O'Neal Mining Co., Nevada (1926). Claims extend into sec. 36, T12.5N, R2W. The Ten-Spot or McCleur claim is spoken of as being part of the Senator and also part of the Storm Cloud property.
Mineralization is a tabular ore body in amphibolitic schist. Ore control was faulting and shearing. Ore concentration was oxidation at near surface. No alteration was noted.
Area structures include dikes and veins parallel to foliation in Precambrian rocks which trends N35E to N45E.
