A uranium deposit located on about 20 claims in sec. 2 (?), T3S, R15E, about 1 mile E of the El Capitan ghost town site, about 14 miles south of Globe, on private land. Owned by G.K. Angius and others, Miami, AZ.
Mineralization is a manto-shaped orebody 121.92 meters long. Host rocks are 2 to 4 feet of shale and platy siltstone strata at the base of the upper member of the Dripping Spring. Minerals occur along fractures and bedding planes. An associated rock unit is diabase. Radioactivity is strong and continuous along the outcrop.
Workings include several prospect pits and diamond drill holes.
