Farghamiru is a village in Badakhshan Province in north-eastern Afghanistan, south of Jurm on the Kokcha River.

Pine green diopside occurrence 13 km south of Jurm.

It is also a location for gem-quality yellow sphene/titanite, which makes sense geologically with the diopside (Dudley Blauwet, 2013, private communication).
