The Eau Rousse is a stream located in France in the Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
The stream's source is located in the Lauzière massif and is a left tributary of Isère, that is to say a sub-tributary of the Rhône.
With a length of 15.1 kilometers, the Eau Rousse torrent has its source in the town of La Léchère - in an enclave southwest of the town near Épierre and Montgellafrey - at an altitude of 2,350 meters. It is called the Rave stream in this upper part, rises less than 1.2 km south of the Grand pic de la Lauzière (2839 m), in the Lauzière massif, and less than two kilometers north of the Col de la Madeleine (1,993 m).
It flows generally from the southwest to the northeast.
It meets in the commune of La Léchère, at an altitude of 435 meters, at the eastern limit of the commune of Bonneval, near the place called Champ du Comte.
