A former surface and underground Ag-Au-Zn-Pb mine located on Pine Creek, 1 mile above the confluence with Turkey Creek. Started before 1900.

Mineralization is a vein that strikes N.20ºE. & dips 53ºW., hosted in the Texas Gulch Formation schist. The vein follows a light-colored dike 600 feet wide. It almost adjoins the granite area of Brady Butte. Ore control was faulting and igneous activity. Ore concentration was oxidation and enrichment at near surface. Alteration was minor.

Area structures include foliation and possible faults in Proterozoic rocks trend N10E. Veins parallel felsite porphyry, which, in turn, parallel the foliation.
