A former surface and underground uranium mine located on 17 claims in sec. 30, T6N, R14E, about ½ mile ESE of the Rose Creek Lodge, on the South side of Workman Creek, on National Forest land. Located and developed by J.O. Brunson & others.

Mineralization is an irregular ore body hosted in Dripping Springs Quartzite and involves a diabase sill (about 50 feet below the adit level). Host rock is fine-grained siltstone commonly bleached from medium to pale gray or tan. Metamorphism to hornfels has been mild and discontinuous. The richest primary ore is found in and near recrystallized hornfels. The ore zone is 1 to 4 feet wide. The ore zone is 25.91 meters long, 1.22 meters wide, 1.83 meters thick, and dips 4SE.

Workings include an adit about 85 feet long, several prospect cuts and a large bulldozed area. Workings achieved a depth of 25.91 meters.
