A former underground Cu-Ag-Au-Fe mine located about 2 miles SE of Cherry. Reopened in 1922 and owned by the New United Verde Copper Co. (1922).
Mineralization is a vein ranging in width from 1 to 5 feet and strikes N.40ºW. and dips 35ºW., in granite. The NW strike is unique in the district. The ore body is pinch and swell. Ore control was faulting and shearing. Ore concentration was oxidation at near surface. No alteration was noted. An associated rock unit is the informally-named Cherry Creek Quartz Diorite, which is unfoliated.
Workings include a shaft that is 600 feet deep on the incline and connects to 3 levels, at 60, 160, and 400 feet below surface.
