A former U occurrence/mine located in the W-central sec. 9, T29N, RIOE, G&SRM, 8.5 km (5.3 miles) ENE of Cameron.

Mineralization is an U-Cu deposit hosted in the upper Petrified Forest Member of the Chinle Formation. The ore includes secondary minerals associated with petrified logs. Zippeite, schroeckingerite, and atacamite have been identified. Local rocks include rocks of the Chinle Formation.

Workings include surface openings comprised of a pit.

Production was 1,038 tons of ore @ 0.24% U3O8; 0.06% V2O5 (1957).
