Structure: Deposits Are Restricted To The Cerro Colorado Fault Zone Which Forms The Contact Between Tertiary And Precambrian Rocks.

Alteration: Kaolinized Andesitic Dikes Are Reported To Be A Fair Host For Uranium Deposition.

Commodity: Analytical data from l.s. Hilpert, 1969 p.105

Deposit: Deposits occur along a fault zone and mineralization ranges from 2 ft. To 15 ft. Thick for about 500 ft. In length. The minerals are disseminated in pockets and along fractures and bedding planes.

Development: In 1955 the u.s. Atomic energy commission conducted a combination core and non-core drilling project.

Geology: For regional geology see ladrons mountains area.
