Holbrook Pit


The Holbrook Pit is actually an extension of the Lavender Pit and called the Holbrook Extension of the Lavender Pit.

It exploited the ores of the old Holbrook Mine itself and many minerals brought out of this working came from the ores of the old Holbrook Mine itself. These are often only extracted from the Holbrook Extension of the Lavender Pit which extended into the area in 1969 and became part of the Lavender Pit then.
