Niingen sink-blyskjerp, Evenes, Nordland, Norge


Zn/Pb-deposit, first claimed in 1919 by Julius Jakobsen from Bogen. Small scale prospecting probably that same year. The 1-2 m wide stratabound Zn-Pb mineralisations can be followed over a length of 50 m.
The NGU coordinates don't seem to correspond with any recognizable mining features at the LIDAR map, but 68.55619,17.03776 might be worth checking.
