A former underground Ag-Cu-Pb-Au mine located near Prescott. Produced 1922-1950. Claims extend into the SE¼SW¼ of sec. 16.
Mineralization is a 4 to 6 foot wide vein with a 1 to 3 foot thick, tabular-shaped paystreak (orebody). Ore control was faulting and shearing. Ore concentration was oxidation and enrichment at near-surface. Alteration was minor.
Area structures include foliation in Proterozoic metavolcanic rocks that trends N10E to N20E. Veins parallel the foliation.
