Hydrothermal quartz veins rich in lead minerals cutting magmatic gabbro-syenites inside the Concord Pluton. Discovered by Jared Thompson of Cabarrus County.
The site is on private property and collecting is prohibited. The primary collecting site has also been covered by ongoing grading operations.
