Located on the ridge between Carbon Creek and Missoula Gulch in the Beaver Creek Drainage approximately 6.5 miles (10.5 kilometers) northeast of Wallace, Idaho.

The US Bureau of Mines lists the mine as having produced from 1906 to 1977 1,423,000 tons of ore containing 1,987,000 ounces of silver 99,215,000 pounds of lead, 306,931,000 pounds of zinc, 106,000 pounds of copper, and 250 ounces of gold.
