Kamień 319m (German: Steinberg) is a volcanic hill south of Bogatynia.

Szymkowiak A., Panasiuk M. (1985):
"The most clearly marked and probably the most genetically homogeneous volcanic complex are the lavas from the area of ​​Mount Kamień, located about 1.5 km southeast of Bogatynia. Within one lava occurrence, a transition from olivine nephelinites, through phonotephrites, to mugearites with a composition similar to tholeiitic basalt is observed. The changes in chemical composition are confirmed by the mineral composition of the rocks studied, which, in the case of phenocrysts, is manifested by a gradual increase in the volume ratio of pyroxene to olivine until the complete disappearance of olivine and the appearance of amphibole phenocrysts. In relation to the rock background, the displacement of clinopyroxene and nepheline micro-lites by plagioclase is observed. The transitions of olivine nephelinites into increasingly younger lavas are continuous and the presence of regolith is not detected. Pyroclastic breccias of considerable thickness were found exclusively in the footwall of the nephelinites. From the above observations, it can be concluded that the Mount Kamień volcanic formations probably reflect one trend of crystallization and differentiation of the primary magmatic melt. This trend led to a significant increase in the SiO content, with only slight changes in the alkali content."

The volcanic body belong to the Central European Volcanic Province (CEVP).
