Abandoned and flooded quarry 1 km N of the village Baruth, located 15 km NE of Bautzen. The quarry is under water, so most of the former mining areas are inaccessible. The crushing plant and the entire facility can be visited on request.


The volcanic body belong to the Central European Volcanic Province (CEVP) consists of basalt.
