Köppen climate type:
Dongbo ophiolite, situated northwest of Purang, spans ∼ 450 km2. Its lithological assemblage features harzburgite-dominated mantle sections, intermittently intruded by mafic dikes, along with layered cumulates and basaltic sequences. Lenticular chromitite occurrences (2–5 m scale) with massive to disseminated textures are documented within harzburgitic host rocks.
