The discovery and initial exploration of the Eas Anie Vein identified a resource of 750,000 t containing 7.99 g/t Au. Initial textural and mineralogical studies of the vein provided clear evidence for multiple injections of ore fluid, and a more detailed vein paragenesis was based on studies of 34 polished ore specimens chosen to illustrate the full range of vein textures observed in the mine adit. In the Eas Anie Vein, the ore grade is related to the speciation of minerals in the Au-Ag-Te-S system.
