Structure: East-West Trending Nakaye Fault And Other Parallel Faults Cut The Nakaye Mountain Horst Block. Smaller Cross Faults Trend From Northwest To Northeast. Sizable Bodies Of Jasperoid, Both Discordant And Concordant, Occur Within The Nakaye Formation.

Alteration: Silicification

Commodity: The fluorite is sugary to coarsely crystalline and pale green, brown, dark blue, or white.

Deposit: Principal deposits are concordant bedded replacements of limestone of red house formation (at least 3 intervals) and shale ranging from nearly zero to 5 ft in thickness. Stratiform replacement fluorspar occurs in at least three stratigraphic intervals. Fluorspar deposits also occur in jasperoid veins and pods along faults and shear zones. 11 unpatented claims covering approximately 200 acres. Description: Occurs here as small blades to 1 cm or rather blocky crystals to 2 cm, often with fluorite, coating matrix to 10 cm or so. Color is gold to brown due to microscopic inclusions of pyrite.
