This abandoned phosphate and mica mine is located to the northwest of Wilson's Corner, which is a sector of the Municipality of Val-des-Monts. It consists of dumps in the woods next to various exploration pits just off Chemin de la Colonie.
The workings were commenced around 1880 for phosphate and abandoned in 1912.
