A large Narrabeen Group sandstone outcrop/cliff that overlooks the Jamison Valley. The rock platform has an area of approximately 1,530m2.

It is near the town of Wentworth Falls.

The area is of historical import to the Aboriginal Dharug and Gundungurra (Gandangara) people.

There is a small cave (Lincoln's Rock Cave; Switzerland Cave) located below the rock platform and can be accessed on the far left side of the rock. It consists of sandstone and with quartz clasts of various sizes with larger ones near cave.

Named after the late Lincoln Hall OAM, a mountaineer who lived in nearby Wentworth Falls. Once pronounced dead on Mount Everest in 2006, only to be found alive the next day (after surviving the night at 8,700 metres).
In 1984 he created a new route to Everest's summit (although he did not summit) and that route is now known as Hall Route.

The locality is within the Jamison Valley Heritage Conservation Area and collecting is not permitted.
