A former underground Au-Cu mine located on 51 claims (1920), in secs. 2 & 11, T9N, R10E, just N of Table Top summit (within a half mile), about 1¾ miles S of Round Valley and about 4 miles N of Gisela, on National Forest land. Originally discovered in the early 1900's. Re-discovered by Miss Elanor Wood in 1950.
Mineralization is a linear ore body hosted in hornblendite and schist. An associated rock unit is granite.
Area structures include a major NW-trending fault nearby. Faulting occurs later than the intrusion of the dikes. Payson Granite outcrops 1 mile south of the mile. W-SE fissures are common, parallel NE-SW. Diorite dikes are also present. NE-trending thrust fault is 1 mile east of the mine.
Very little development work has been performed on the property. Workings total 21.34 meters in length and 15.24 meters in depth. No production record.
